Woes x Luke Birthday Party

Last weekend I had the pleasure to party it up with some amazing people. Aaron (Angry Woebots) Martin and Luke celebrated there birthday party in style at Pauls kick ass pad, which stands alone as one of the best art collections I have ever seen. He has original paintings, prints, and rare vinyl toys in every colorway of some of my favorite artist. I was honestly taken back just walking around his place admiring all the great work he has collected over the years. A true art lover. Props.

Awesome night!! It was a blast hanging out with some fellow artist and overall inspired and driven individuals. Seeing what some of these people have done over the years has been a huge inspiration to me in not just art, but in what I want out of life. Do what makes YOU happy and life will be sweet. There was a nice mixture of creatives too in a variety of fields hanging out so it was sweet bouncing off ideas and random bullsh*t. Hearing stories and seeing what hard work can lead too is inspiring. Being persistent and focused on goals and aspirations is a great thing to see in a person, and I have nothing but respect for those who decide to stray from the "safe" 9-5 type jobs and take the risk to pursue there dreams. I believe everything works out right in the end if you follow your dreams and do everything to the fullest. I am having a grand ol' time on my journey bettering myself as an artist and as a person. Let's keep the good times rollin!!

GOOD TIMES!!

FOCUS MANNN!!!

It is hard to stay focused sometimes on work in this hustle and bustle world. There are so many distractions like work, family and friends, hobbies, relationships, stupid errands, awesomeness of life, etc. I came across a new way to approach things and it seems like it can be really beneficial if done correctly.

My good friend Rich over at www.CheckTheMethod.com turned me onto this method to help myself continue to stay focused on future goals. I have done this in other forms the past few years that have worked for me, but this outlined annual review version seems more helpful in the long run. It is a great way to stay on top of goals you set for yourself in the year and to keep them moving throughout. Basically the idea is to create an outline of the upcoming year of goals you want to accomplish and the necessary steps to keep it going. This isn't a New Years resolution cause most people just say it and lose sight of it after like a month into the year. Having taken the time to write it down and actually figure out the steps to get it done is the way to go. Keeps you in check!

Here is the link that explains it all in depth along with a spreadsheet, tips, and other outlines to get the job done. Annual Review

Looking over my goals and what I want to accomplish I can't help but be exciting. I look forward to kicking ass and taking names this year and I know it is going to be one of my most challenging years in every aspect. I accept the challenge and can't wait to look back come December!
