FOCUS MANNN!!!

It is hard to stay focused sometimes on work in this hustle and bustle world. There are so many distractions like work, family and friends, hobbies, relationships, stupid errands, awesomeness of life, etc. I came across a new way to approach things and it seems like it can be really beneficial if done correctly.

My good friend Rich over at www.CheckTheMethod.com turned me onto this method to help myself continue to stay focused on future goals. I have done this in other forms the past few years that have worked for me, but this outlined annual review version seems more helpful in the long run. It is a great way to stay on top of goals you set for yourself in the year and to keep them moving throughout. Basically the idea is to create an outline of the upcoming year of goals you want to accomplish and the necessary steps to keep it going. This isn't a New Years resolution cause most people just say it and lose sight of it after like a month into the year. Having taken the time to write it down and actually figure out the steps to get it done is the way to go. Keeps you in check!

Here is the link that explains it all in depth along with a spreadsheet, tips, and other outlines to get the job done. Annual Review

Looking over my goals and what I want to accomplish I can't help but be exciting. I look forward to kicking ass and taking names this year and I know it is going to be one of my most challenging years in every aspect. I accept the challenge and can't wait to look back come December!

Kern River!!

HELLL YEAAA!!!

So I went camping with some friends last month over at Kern River. Never been there and I hadn't gone camping in years so I was pretty pscyhed to get out and away from the busy city for a few days. I had an ammmmmazing time... it was so much fun going on adventures and having fun with everyone. You guys rock!

Most of the crew

I am a big nature guy and just like getting outside really is already sweet. Some of the stuff I ended up doing was a kick ass hike (where I nearly fell to my death), caught and ate some crawfish, BB gun sniper style shooting (Pew Pew!!!), rafting down and jumping off a big ass rock into the river, and partying of course was on the menu over the 4 days. Overall... AMAZING TIME! can't wait to go back. On one of the nights some friends and I started playing with lights and camera tricks trying to make some cool images in the air. Check it out!

I'M A MOTHER FUCKIN MONSTA!!

Be Productive!

So a few weeks ago my friend and I decided to just have an art night. Nothing fancy just hanging out drawing, watching some movies, kicking it. That turned into a whole night with some other friends coming over and pretty much became a full fledged night of creativity. Some homies were drawing, others were playing drums and guitar with some Cee-Lo-Fuck You karaoke in the background (thank you Ryan. Legit!) and overall.... being productive!! Nice! I happened to buy some canvas's earlier so was sketching on those and that whole week I was hooked on this new Kanye West song "Monster".

I got the song from a friend and haven't heard it on the radio yet and loved it so I've been blasting my speakers listening to it. I just think everyone's lines are sick, beat is awesome, and I love rapping to it like it was me. haha So from that I was inspired and wanted to do a piece and managed to knock something out that I like. Fast forward 2 weeks later and I made these two connecting pieces. Check it out and hope you like. ONE.
